This project was designed for a family with four children in a prominent community with city and lake views near downtown Bellevue.  A tough triangular lot with strict design guidelines, while complicated the process, yielded a beautifully composed single-story  Contemporary home, with Great room floor plan for entertaining and 5 bedroom suites, including a Master, and a private patio.

The simple massing of the house is clad in limestone ledgestone, and horizontal stained cedar lap siding.  Large wood-clad windows provide dramatic effect and an ample amount of natural lighting – one of the client’s primary objectives. The hip roof with wide overhangs is trimmed with oversized fascia to provide the appearance of a flat roof from the street.
