Bridle Trails Residence
Located on a beautiful 100,000 sf lot, this home is a true Northwest Contemporary private retreat near the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, Washington. The approach for this speculative residence was to take advantage of the flattest and sunniest part of the lot over the foundation of the existing structure.
In addition, the design accommodated the preservation of an existing 60 year old majestic Japanese maple that would frame the view out of the kitchen and covered patio. The concept for the home design was to create a home with all necessary spaces and utilities located on the main level, with the upstairs being reserved for additional bedrooms, and a basement for entertainment and secondary uses. Both the Master Suite and the Great room are anchored by large fireplaces, flanked by the windows capturing the views of the site.
Project size: 7,000 sf
