This project was conceived as a dream home for a professional couple, that engaged Armada Design build and 2S Design to turn a tight vacant lot with spectacular views of Lake Sammamish into a beautiful modern residence they could call home.

As the design and permitting process were nearing completion, the owners had to relocate out of state, and the original design-build team purchased the lot to continue with the development of the project. Space Lab was engaged to complete the vision and design of this unique home. As a team, we revisited the plan to improve flow and functionality and carried out the aesthetic of the urban loft to the interiors with industrial chic undertones.

The interiors of the home are simple and functional, incorporating contrasting finishes, concrete, metals, and statement light fixtures. The modern aesthetic is composed beautifully against the scenic backdrop of Lake Sammamish, offering luxurious retreat surrounded by beautiful nature of the Pacific Northwest.
