Suncadia Spa Lodge

The owners of this home are dreamers, with a heart for creating beautiful spaces to gather and recharge.  They wanted to build a retreat in Suncadia that they could share with family and friends, as well as rent out to other city dwellers.

Inspired by a gorgeous setting and informed by exterior mountain architecture, the house is a modern rustic lodge. It balances modern and traditional design, with a touch of roughness that adds character and masculine edge to interior elements and spaces.

A massive asymmetrical fireplace is the focus of the great room, with large stones, split face mantle and hearth framing its edges.  The palette throughout is predominantly earth tones, with a balance of light and dark elements.

Main and statement furniture pieces were sourced from Restoration Hardware and combined with unique pieces, that include custom made furniture built with dimensional lumber, upcycled pieces, and furniture and accessories sourced from local shops and artists.

Beyond creating gorgeous indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, this home offers 5 uniquely designed master suites. The lodge is also designed to be a wellness retreat offering hydro and thermal therapy with its dry and steam saunas, and outdoor cold plunge and hot tub.
